Hosting

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States. Vercel processes technical logs (IP address, browser type) to keep the service running. As a US provider it may process this data outside the European Union; Vercel certifies its adherence to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and uses standard contractual clauses where they are required.

Intellectual property

The content, design and code of this site belong to Cherie Export SRL unless stated otherwise. Client project names and visuals belong to their respective owners.

Personal data

Cherie Export SRL is the data controller for everything described below. We have not appointed a data protection officer, so please write to contact@cheriefamily.com with any question about your data.

The contact form collects your name, email, company, budget and message. We use it only to answer you, on the basis of your consent.

If you have a client account, we store the email address and sign-in details the account needs, on the basis of our contract with you.

Two providers handle this data for us and for nothing else: Vercel, which hosts the site and provides the anonymous visitor statistics described below, and Supabase, which stores form submissions and account records.

With your consent, we measure anonymous visitor statistics through Vercel Web Analytics: which pages are viewed, and general details such as country, device type and the site you arrived from. This is measured without cookies, it is only ever counted in aggregate, and it can never identify you or be traced back to a person. If you decline the cookie notice, nothing is measured.

We keep contact form submissions and the correspondence that follows for up to three years after our last exchange with you, and records of your cookie choice for up to three years. Account records are kept for as long as the account is open. Invoices and transaction records are kept for ten years, which Romanian accounting and tax law requires.

Your data is never sold and never shared for advertising.

You have the following rights at any time:

1. access to the data we hold about you
2. rectification of anything inaccurate
3. erasure
4. restriction of processing, and objection to it
5. portability, meaning a copy in a reusable format
6. withdrawal of your consent, which does not affect the lawfulness of what was done beforehand

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Ours is the Romanian ANSPDCP, at dataprotection.ro. You can equally approach the authority where you live, such as the CNIL in France or the AEPD in Spain.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It stores only the following, all of it in your own browser:

• cherie-consentyour answer to the cookie notice, kept until you change it.
• cherie-langthe language you picked.
• cherie-preloader-seenremembers you have already seen the opening animation, for this browser session only.
• Sign-in cookiesset only if you sign in to the client area, and only to keep you signed in.

The anonymous visitor statistics you can accept or decline in that notice use no cookies at all; they are described under Personal data above.

You can change your answer whenever you like, from the cookie link at the bottom of any page.

Terms and applicable law

This site is published for information. We keep it accurate and available as far as we reasonably can, without promising it is free of error or never interrupted. Links to other sites are not an endorsement, and their content is not ours to answer for. This notice is governed by Romanian law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you hold in your own country.

If something is wrong, write to contact@cheriefamily.com first and we will aim to reply within 14 days. Consumers who are not satisfied with our answer may turn to alternative dispute resolution through the SAL service of the Romanian consumer authority ANPC, at anpc.ro, or to the equivalent authority where they live. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025 and is no longer an option.
